Pelvic Health

Everyone has a pelvis! Sometimes our pelvis needs a little more focused attention. Mikaela has not only worked with individuals during pregnancy, post-partum, and menopause. She has extensive experience in supporting clients through pelvic cancer treatment and helping clients thrive with their new ostomy.

Clinical Pilates

Taking your rehabilitation to the next level with meditative movement. Challenge your mind and connect with your body. Mikaela always finds a way to incorporate clinical pilates principles throughout her physiotherapy practice. Her approach is infinitely creative, individualized, and functional.

Coaching

Mikaela and Stephen strive to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance.

Mikaela works with clients one-on-one helping them achieve their running goals by creating individualized programs. She specializes in: returning to running after an injury, learning to run, and - her personal favourite - crushing your first marathon.

Stephen helps clients achieve new levels of strength and resilience by incorporating barbell squats and deadlifts alongside dumbbell or bodyweight-based strength training. With a strong focus on improving a client’s healthspan, he ensures strength training is accessible so you can confidently lift at home or in the gym and break new ground.

We equip you with the knowledge for action toward living your best life possible.

 

As the client, the focus is on you and your experience. An assessment starts with your story – what you’ve been feeling and how it has affected your life. We then assess your movement and strength as appropriate, and collaborate to create a plan for recovery. Treatment typically consists of a combination of education, exercise and manual therapy (hands-on treatment).
